Dolores Marie (Bilyeu) DeVore, age 87 of Missoula, Montana, passed away May 23, 2017 at home in Missoula.
Dolores M. DeVore was born November 4,1929 in Sangamon County, Illinois, to Benjamin Franklin Bilyeu and Helen Pearl Fisher, one of ten childern. Dolores attend and graduated high school in Manito, Illinois in 1947. On August 7, 1947, Dolores married Albert Alonzo DeVore Jr., born May 11 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri ( passed away August 11, 1989). Dolores had five children: Allene (Michael) Middleton, Albert (Sally) DeVore, Raymond DeVore, Patrick DeVore, Jay (Vicki) DeVore.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Albert and son Albert (Lon). She is survived by her children Allene, Raymond, Patrick, Jay, son-in-law Michael Middleton, daughter-in-law Vicki DeVore, and daughter-in-law Sally Lipscomb DeVore. Also by her sisters Rosalie Bilyeu, Jacquelin Bilyeu, and brothers Robert Bilyeu, Jerry Bilyeu, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dolores and Al opened a print shop/newspaper in Manito, Illinois called “The Manito Community Express”. In 1962 they moved west to work in several small prints shops in Homedale Idaho, Spokane, Washington,and Julesburg, Colorado. Then in 1972 they moved to Missoula, Montana where both were employed by the University of Montana Printing Services. In 1989, after the passing of Albert, she joined her sons Jay and Patrick in Stevensville, Montana at a small print shop called DeVore Printing as their Bindery specialist. Her skill and knowledege helped many customers of DeVore Printing. She also worked part time for Ammons Scientific Ltd, as a bindery worker.
Dolores’ interests were family road trips to see family and the geology and natural history of the areas that the family were close to. From Yellowstone Park to the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore to Meramec Caverns, Dolores and Albert always found fun for the family. Once home from the travels her second love of gardening would kick in, tomatoes and raspberries were her favorite plants.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 17 at 3 p.m. at Elevate Church, 4907 Blue Mountain Road in Missoula, Montana.

So sorry to hear of Delores death. She is now in the arms of God and enjoying great peace. I have so many fond memories of the DeVore family especially at the B&J Café.
