Well, maybe not too much of a surprise. Considering the not well announced city council meeting dealing with the unsightly tower in the “Riverview Cemetery”, and the more of an opposition turnout than wanted; the follow-up committee meeting scheduled for May 22 ,2017, just a week after the regular meeting, has now been delayed for 2 months. Rumors suggest that the use of a delay that will allow people to cool off, go on a vacation, or forget about it and there will be less opposition than before. As a matter of information this would not be the first time that a local agency or committee has used this tactic. The new notice on city hall reads as follows:

RESCHEDULED UNTIL 7/24/17
