Hamilton – Anthony Gonzales, 29, was taken from us on Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was the victim of a tragic trucking accident in Newtown, ND.
Anthony James Gonzales was born on March 30, 1988 in Garland, TX, to Michaela Corn and Liberato (Junior) Gonzales.
Anthony grew up in Tahlequah, OK, attending Lowery Elementary and Tahlequah High School. During high school he was active in all sports: basketball, football and wrestling. From an early age Anthony took an interest in semi trucks, later on becoming an owner/operator in the oilfields of North Dakota.
Anthony had a contagious smile and big personality. He had the uncanny ability of striking up a conversation with everyone he met. In 2008, Anthony moved to Montana where he and his beloved wife, of 10 years, raised their two children. Anthony was a family man. He loved his wife, adored his children and cherished his time at home.
Our hearts are broken as he was taken from us way too soon. We mourn the senseless loss of a kind and loving young man who touched the lives of so many.
Anthony leaves behind his beloved wife, Jamie, son Cayden and daughter Aubrey; his mother Michaela, stepfather Ronnie, father Junior, sisters Laura and Sara, parents-in-law Jim and Sandy Boyd and many other extended family and dear friends. Anthony’s memory will live on in the hearts of all of us.
A Memorial Service will be held at Canyon View Church in Hamilton on Wednesday, May 17 at 5 p.m.
Memorials, cards, and flowers may be sent to Jamie Gonzales at 833 Canyon View Loop, Hamilton MT 59840.
