The 25th annual All Valley Classic was held on March 14th, 2017. The event honored the top high school athletes in the valley. Zach McCrossin of Darby and Reilly Rostad of Hamilton were selected as players of the year. Corvallis’ Cayden Ayers and Corinne Sanderson were selected as soccer players of the year. Volleyball player of the year was Megan Kowalski of Florence. Softball player of the year was Kloie Nye of Hamilton. Basketball players of the year were Zach McCrossin of Darby and Sanderson from Corvallis. Jaylen Taggart of Hamilton and Colt Neville of Victor were the football players of the year. The winners of the Stephanie Gonzales Sportsmanship award were Jayce Allred from Victor and Krissy Lubke from Hamilton. The state champion Hamilton golf team was honored, as were individual state winners for track, cross-country, and wrestling. In addition, Bill Rummel was honored for his years as a volleyball official and Darrell Holland, who is retiring as the Hamilton school athletic director, were honored.
