The Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Waste Management and Remediation Division, Waste and Underground Tank Management Bureau, Septic Tank Pumper Program, received an application for a land application site. DEQ reviewed the application and it was found complete. The name and address of the applicant is:

The application is for the approval of a site for the land application of septage and grease trap waste. The proposed approximately 120-acre land application site is located on property in Sections 17 and 20, Township 8 North, Range 19 West, Montana Principal Meridian, Ravalli County, Montana. The site will be used only as-needed.
The purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the proposed action and to seek public participation in the decision-making process. To comply with Administrative Rules of Montana 17.4.607(2), 608, 609, and 610, a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) has been prepared. A copy of the Draft EA is available upon request from the Waste and Underground Tank Management Bureau, Solid Waste Program, P.O. Box 200901, Helena, MT 59620-0901, or on the DEQ’s website at http://deq.mt.gov/public/ea/SepticPumpers. The public has until close of business on December 19, 2016 to submit written comments concerning the proposal.
