A district judge ruled this week that the state attorney general has the authority to deny City of Deer Lodge the right to participate in the decision to move the Title and Registration Bureau to Helena.
The City needs to finish what they started and appeal the decision to the Montana Supreme Court.
Pursuant to Article 9 of the Montana Constitution Right to Know, I requested a copy of the AG’s “estimate of savings” and “state initiative” referred to in a July 5 newspaper article.
The AG took 65 days to provide me with a copy of “estimate of savings,” the AG demanded $110 before sending me the “estimate of savings,” the AG fails to respond to my request as to what TSB stands for on the “estimate of savings,” the AG alleges that there are no time sheets to document the research, and the AG fails to respond to my request for a refund because the agency obtained the information for July 5 news article together with lack of documentation required by MCA 2-6-1006.
Vote against AG Tim Fox.
Vote for Larry Jent, who has served as a member of the Green Beret to defend our fundamental rights.
