Stephen Hilburn, 33, went home to be with the Lord Thursday August 4, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. Stephen was born June 24, 1983 in Hamilton, Montana to Jo Winfrey and Jerry Hilburn. He graduated from Stevensville High School in Montana along with his twin brother Michael Hilburn in the class of 2002.
Stephen is remembered for his “Tender Heart” towards all who knew him and many who did not. Along the way, he silently reached out to the down and out or those who were in need, young and old. He was always living life on the edge but mostly loved connecting with God’s creation – hiking, camping, snowboarding, playing soccer or on the beach in Santa Cruz, CA, playing tag football with his siblings, cousins and nephews at Christmas.
Stephen leaves behind his parents, Jo Winfrey, Vern Grabow and Jerry Hilburn; siblings, twin brother Michael, David, Hannah and Renee’, Aunt Cookie, many cousins, nephews and nieces who will miss him dearly.
