The Bitterroot Bucs and the Bitterroot Red Sox split a double header on Friday night in Hamilton. The Bucs won the first game, 7-6, in the seven-inning game and held off the Red Sox who rallied from four runs down in the bottom of the seventh inning. Dylan Gavlak was the winning pitcher.
The Bucs scored all of their runs in the first three innings. Liam LeCoure hit a home run and a double and had four RBIS. He was 2-for-3 at bat. Rees LeSoine went 1-for-3 at bat. He also had a double and had two RBIs. Bo Zeiler had three singles and an RBI.
Tylor Nixon went 2-for-3 with a home run and also had a triple and three RBIs. Tanner Goligoski had a single and knocked one runner in. He was 1-for-1 at bat.
In the second game, the Red Sox got on the scoreboard first with a run in the first inning. They went on to hold off the Bucs and win, 5-3. Jonathan Ringer took the win. Nixon had another home run with two RBIs. He was 1-for-2 at bat. Austin Ray and Ringer also had RBIs. Jake Finley went 3-for-3 with two singles and an RBI.
