STEVENSVILLE TOWN COUNCIL VACANCY – The Town of Stevensville is seeking qualified applicants to serve as Ward 2 Councilperson for the Town of Stevensville. The Councilperson for Ward 2 shall be appointed by a majority vote of the Stevensville Town Council during an open, public meeting and will serve in this interim position until December 31, 2017. Ward 2 is that portion of the town lying south of Fifth Street, generally along a line extending from Main Street easterly to the town limits at Logan Lane, as well as that portion of the town lying south of Central Avenue, generally along a line extending from Main Street westerly to the town limits. Qualified applicants must be 18 years old, United States Citizens and a Ward 2 resident of the Town of Stevensville for at least 60 days preceding the election/appointment to office.
