Stevensville – Floyd Andrew “Andy” Moore, Sr., 73, passed away Monday, April 19, 2016 at his home in Stevensville of natural causes.
Andy was born July 13, 1942 in Denver, CO to Eva Jane (Hoops) and Floyd N. Moore. After high school graduation he attended college and received an Associate Degree. Andy served in the U.S. Navy. He was married for 53-½ years to Mary V. (Jones), Sr. He was an elder in the LDS church and served as a high priest. He enjoyed ham radios and was a member of the ham radio club BARC. He also enjoyed RC models.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, three sisters-in-law and his wife’s parents.
Survivors include his wife, Mary V. Moore, Sr.; his children, Evvie (Jeff) of West Virginia, Ann ((Darrel) of Missoula, “Andy” Jr. (Stacee) of Stevensville, Mary Jr. and Charlie of Alaska; six grandkids and six great-grandkids.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the LDS Church in Stevensville with a reception following.
