March 29, 2016 by Editor

Victor – Jane Pendleton Morison, 62, of Victor, MT, passed away March 22, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Jane was born in New Hampshire and grew up in Concord, the daughter of Mary Carolyn and William K. Morison, II.
She graduated from Concord High School in 1971. She attended the University of New Hampshire majoring in art.
She began a successful career as a trader and broker in Boston. Her career took her to Dallas, Chatsworth, California and, ultimately, to Missoula, Montana.
Missoula spoke to her and she never left. She lived a full life, surrounded by her beloved horses and show dogs. She loved training her horses, excelling in dressage, training and breeding her many collies, earning numerous prestigious awards, including frequent Best in Show.
She was blessed with dear and loyal friends including Russ and Sheila Fox and Martin Bruun who were constantly at her side helping her through the end of her journey.
She is survived by her father William K. Morison, II; her brother William K. Morison, III and his wife Donna, her sister, Anne M. Sheehan, her nieces, Karen N. Morison, Carolyn P. Coe, Elizabeth P. Bouchard and Kate D. Starkie; nephews, Anthony, Peter and Nathan Morison; and her grand nieces and nephews Hazel, Abigail and Blake Bouchard and Delaney Shaw.
She was predeceased by her mother Mary Carolyn P. Morison.
There will be no service. At her request, her ashes will be scattered at the lake she loved in New Hampshire.
Arrangements were through Daly Leach Memorial Chapel in Hamilton. If desired, donations in memory of Jane may be made to a charity of choice.
