The Lady Pirates of Victor are a work in progress. But one thing about them, they don’t give up. After losing to the Clark Fork Mountain Cats on Friday night, they bounced back and topped Valley Christian, 3734. Victor trailed by four points with one quarter left in the game. They rallied and doubled the scoring of Valley Christian and pulled out the win. Krissy Kuettel had 12 points to lead Victor.

Hamilton took on the Frenchtown Broncs on Thursday night. They got off to a slow start and just couldn’t make up the difference. Caitlin Gillespie led the Hamilton team with seven points.

Hamilton fell to Whitefish, 3733, in a close nonconference game.
Frenchtown defeated Corvallis, 5536. The Blue Devils had a difficult time getting past the Frenchtown defense and only scored 11 points in the first half. Corinne Sanderson finished with 18 points.

Florence picked up a couple of conference wins over the weekend. On Friday they made the trip to Anaconda. The two were neckandneck for three quarters with Florence trailing by two at the start of the fourth quarter. Florence pulled ahead and took the win, 5247. Danielle Zahn poured in 27 points for Florence.

Florence made the trip back to the Deer Lodge Valley on Saturday where they took on Deer Lodge. Florence took an early lead but the Wardens battled back to make the game close. Florence won, 4140. Autumn round had 15 points and Kourtney Kohlman added 12 more.
The Stevensville Lady Yellowjackets traveled to Dillon on Saturday to take on the Beavs. Stevensville led at the half by five points but couldn’t hold on to the lead and lost, 4938. Mariah Hinson led the Stevensville scorers with 11 points.

Darby lost a couple of close games over the weekend. They took on Drummond and lost in overtime, 4943. A strong third quarter put the Lady Tigers back in the game but they just couldn’t pull ahead in the extra period. Lily Lang scored 13 points in the game.

Darby took on Charlo on Saturday. They were held to only two points in the first quarter but came back to push the Lady Vikings. Casey Ehmann led all scorers with 13 points.
