Victor sweeps Darby

The first rivalry game of the season was Friday in night in Victor when the Darby Tigers came to town. Although Victor trailed at the end of the first quarter but came back to win, 45-37. Colt Neville led all scorers with 20 points for Victor. Zach McCrossin had 19 points for Darby.

Darby – Zach McCrossin 19, Zach Kline 6, Andy Smith 3, Dylan Park 3, John Beckers 2, Corey Valenzano 4.
Victor – Austin Lewis 3, Jared Hailey 2, Riley DeLaSilva 4, Logan McKinley 8, Colt Neville 20, Jace Allred 8.
The Victor girls also won. They came back from a 15-point deficit in the first quarter to win, 45-41. Jamie Burdett had 13 points for Victor and Hailey Kay added 12 more. Darby’s Peyton Muir had 12 points to pace the Lady Tigers.

Darby- – Breanna Brickey 9, Casey Ehmann 6, Peyton Muir 12, Nicole Slanger 4, Lily Lang 4, Kylie Fisher 6.
Victor – Alyssa Hopper 6, Ashley Hopper 2, Krissy Kuettel 9, Jamie Burdett 13, Shania Stevens 3, Hailey Kay 12.
Darby defeated Lincoln, 57-39, on Saturday. Dylan Parks drilled 16 points to lead the Tigers. McCrossin added 11 more.

Lincoln – Brown 4, Nick 7, Fitzgerald 12, Peterson 2, Trump 6, Fruit 8.
Darby – McCrossin 11, Kline 4, Smith 9, Dylan Park 16, Beckers 4, Westfall 4, Hansen 2, Valenzano 7.
The Darby girls won their game, 57-17. Casey Ehmann had 17 points for the Lady Tigers. Jerilyn Dietz scored all 17 points for Lincoln.
The Florence boys won both their games at the Manhattan Tournament. They defeated Manhattan Christian in a close game, 59-56. Levi Clagett had 19 points and the Zeiler brothers, Bo and Marcus added 10 and 11 points respectively for Florence.
Florence defeated Townsend, 62-40. Dan Mickelson broke loose for 20 points for the Falcons in the win.
The Lady Falcons defeated Manhattan Christian, 60-46. Danielle Zahn had 30 points in the win for Florence. The Lady Falcons lost to Townsend, 54-46. Autumn Round had 10 points in the win.
