The Corvallis Blue Devils won the Blocktober Classic at Butte Central on Saturday. This tournament gives Class A schools a chance to play teams they may not normally play until the state tournament in November in Bozeman. Corvallis defeated Browning, Butte Central JV, and Dillon in pool play. They then advanced to the semi finals where they topped Belgrade, 25-23, 25-18. In the championship, the Blue Devils defeated Lewistown, 25-16, 25-21.
Stevensville defeated Butte Central, 25-15, in pool play. They lost to Park County and Belgrade but then came back to defeat Libby, 25-20. The Yellowjackets lost to Fergus, 25-13, 26-24, in first round action.
