Construction should begin this week on the new Stevensville Skatepark.
Although the crew from Evergreen Skateparks is set to begin construction within the coming week, the Stevensville Skatepark Committee is still about $65,000 short of the final goal of $225,000 for the skatepark. This money is needed to finalize the park structure, signage and amenities. They are asking for continued support and donations from community members and friends to meet this final financial hurdle in making this skatepark a safe and enjoyable place for everyone in the Bitterroot Valley.
The skatepark will be located within the Lewis & Clark Park in Stevensville.
