The Hamilton Downtown Association wishes to thank all of the people who participated in our 2015 Daly Days celebration. It’s gratifying to see thousands of people enjoying a good time in our beautiful downtown!
In particular, we’d like to recognize the hard work of our HDA Daly Days Committee, led by Susan Wetzsteon. They coordinated the package of events, vendors, and activities that made it all so fun. In particular, Dan Mitchell put together the Friday night Street Dance, and worked with Mara Luther on the Saturday events. Susan Wetzsteon took on the popular Wiener Dog Races, and made a fun, well-run event of that, as well.
The Bitterrodders Car Club livened up the east end of Main Street with popular displays and activities, and KLYQ’ s Steve Fullerton staffed an information tent and ran interference in innumerable ways. Main Street merchants and HDA volunteers, too numerous to name, added their efforts to make it all a fun, hometown weekend.
We also thank all our sponsors. We really appreciate all the continuing support.
The HDA encourages everyone to shop, live, and give locally, and at Daly Days you could do all three, within a three block section of Main Street! Supporting local businesses, non-profits, and events builds a stronger community, one that we’re happy to call “home.”
We hope to see you again soon, downtown—where Hamilton happens!
