Reminder to Three Mile residents

April 21, 2015 by Guest Post

On Tuesday, May 5 from 12 to 8 p.m. in the Lone Rock Elementary School gym, two elections will be held for three local government positions. The elected persons will represent the fellow citizens of our Three Mile Community taxing district in School and Fire District matters.
Please come to vote to make your voice heard in our/your local community!
The positions to be filled are:
Lone Rock School District Election: One Trustee for the Lone Rock School District Elementary/Middle School, 3 year term; One Trustee for the Lone Rock School District/High School, (attends Stevensville School District meetings), 3 year term.
Three Mile Rural Fire District Special District Election: One Trustee for the Three Mile Rural Fire District, 3 year term.
I am running for Trustee of the Lone Rock School District Elementary/Middle School and Trustee for the Three Mile Rural Fire District.
I have a vested interest in both of these boards, and if I am elected to either position, I will do everything possible to bring more transparency and accountability to these districts.
On Monday, April 27 at 7 p.m. in the Lone Rock Elementary School gym, there will be a community forum for citizens of the Three Mile community to ask and hear questions and answers from the candidates for these trustee positions. Please come meet me and ask me some questions.
Please put these two events into your calendar, and please come and get involved in our community!
• April 27 at 7 p.m. – Community Forum, Lone Rock Gym
• May 5, 12-8 p.m. – Election, at the Lone Rock Gym
If you need to vote absentee, please go to http://ravalli.us/DocumentCenter/View/161 and print this document, fill it out and send to:
Ravalli County Election Office, 215 South 4th Street, Suite C, Hamilton MT 59840 or call 375-6550 to request the form.
