Victor – Marilyn Louise Webb, 95, died at home in Victor, MT on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. She’d been a victim of Alzheimer’s for several years, a devastating disease that destroyed a vibrant, beautiful person. She’s at last at peace now with departed loved ones.
Marilyn was born in 1919 in Atchison, KS, the only child of Raymond and Adelia Willette. She was raised in Kansas City, KS and often spent time with her beloved aunts, Lura and Alberta Kientz on their farm in Ozawkie, KS.
Marilyn was an avid, talented vocalist, pianist, artist, painting in all mediums, gardener, homemaker and tennis player. While in college she would often take her net to play before classes. She was a devout Christian, receiving guidance from the Northland Cathedral in Kansas City, MO.
Marilyn married the love of her life, Dr. J. Warner Webb, Jr., MD, “Doc”, in 1941. They had three children and shared a love of fishing, golf and bridge together. They lived in Tucson, AZ for many years.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, aunts and husband “Doc” who passed in 1977. She is survived by her son, Jeff K. (Lori) Webb and her grandson Jonathan, all of Raytown, MO and daughters, Carolyn “Carrie” Thornton and Gloria Webb of Victor, MT. Marilyn and Gloria relocated to Victor from Kansas City, MO in 2000 to be with Carrie who lost her husband, Robert Thornton in 1999. Marilyn’s other two grandsons who survive her are Michael C.
