Support for Ray

October 29, 2014 by Guest Post

It is my honor to highly recommend Jennifer Ray as your next Justice of the Peace for Department #1. Jennifer already has the skills and experience to step onto the bench as a full time judge. Jennifer has worked in the Ravalli County Justice Department for the last 12 years as Court Administrator for Judge Jim Bailey. Jennifer has attended many seminars and conferences and has many certificates of completion for every aspect of court procedures and processes. She is well qualified and ready to take up the reins of justice without any learning curve. Justice will not be on holiday while she has to take time to learn the law, the protocol or the techniques of the courtroom. I have known Jennifer for many years and have worked with her in my capacity as sitting Justice of the Peace and as a substitute judge. Jennifer is professional, prepared and competent. Jennifer has also filled the role of substitute judge over the past few years so she is ready and able to be an effective judge.
Jennifer is a good person with a good attitude. She likes people, which I consider one of the most basic requirements for a judge. Over my thirty years on the bench as an instructor for other judges, I emphasized this attribute. I always told the incoming judges that liking people and liking them enough to treat them all with respect and fairness was an absolute. Jennifer exhibits this trait and I know she will listen carefully and make judicial rulings with proper application of the law.
In these times of increased courtroom activity it is imperative to have a judge with qualities of honor, fairness, and education. Jennifer Ray is that person. I am personally endorsing Jenn because of my love for justice in Ravalli County. She rises about the competition in the current race. She is not just looking for a job; she cares for justice and cares for the people of Ravalli County. Her role for the last several years shows she is immensely qualified to be the contender of choice.
Please carefully consider your right to vote in the upcoming election and then vote Jennifer Ray as the most qualified candidate.
Nancy Sabo
Retired Ravalli County Justice of the Peace
