I am writing to encourage everyone to vote YES on the Fairgrounds Levy that will be on the ballot in November. We have a wonderful County Fair here and I feel that so many more children and their families will be able to attend and get to see the animals, poultry, rabbits and exhibits at the fair. Since there will be no gate fee, so many people who could not afford to go will be able to attend and have a wonderful experience. Since there is no alcohol sold and consumed on the fairgrounds, it is a safe family event. The local organizations will sell more food. I have a 9-year-old grandson who has been to the fair every year of his life and he talks about it all year long. It is one of the important things in his life. We love to support the local organizations by buying the good food we can only get one time during the year. It is a real treat for our whole family. For no more than this is going to cost us once a year this is a no brainer for us to all vote YES on the Fair Levy.
