Stevensville – Samuel M. Gregg, 73, of Stevensville passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Living Centre of natural causes.
He was born in Hamilton on May 23, 1941 to Marion Gaston and Martha Marcella (Kopp) Gregg. Samuel enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1961 and served in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg. He was honorably discharged.
On October 24, 1970, Samuel was married to Patricia Collins in Missoula and they were together until July of 2002. Samuel was an owner/operator in the logging industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his three children: Joel M. (April) Gregg of Lolo, Rebekah Gregg of Arlington, VA, and Phillip Gregg of Stevensville; his three stepchildren: Jeffery (Cam) Collins of Florence, Vincent (Deanna) Collins of Leesburg, VA, and Christina (Jerry) Sweeney of Clayton, WA; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Mary Ruth (Lyman) Simpson of Union Grove, WI, and Susan Hodges of West Linn, OR.
