Stevensville – Joshua Robert Stevens (Lunch Box) 20, of Stevensville, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014.
The son of Faron and Jill Stevens was born March 10, 1994, in Missoula, Montana. He was raised in the Lone Rock area, attended Lone Rock School, and graduated from Stevensville High School. Josh worked at Bargreen Restaurant Supply and owned his own custom haying business. Josh’s hobbies were working cattle, haying, hunting, fishing, and he always looked forward to branding for the Pendergasts and Jacksons. He was never afraid to get dirty. Most of the times there wasn’t a clean spot on him. Josh was burning the candle at both ends, working a full-time job and haying many hours.

Josh enjoyed 4H, FFA, football, baseball, and helping the younger kids. During the fair, he was always one of the first ones to the barn to check the animals and get the coffee started. Josh was also a member at 3-Mile Volunteer Fire Department.
Josh is survived by his parents, Faron and Jill; sister, Jessica Stevens; grandmas, Wendy Stevens and Linda Field; aunt, Tonia Field; cousins, Ali and Noah Ward and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Ole Field and Frank Stevens.
This young man will be truly missed. Love ya lots, Buddy, and we’ll always be thinking of you.
Services were held at Lone Rock School on Saturday, July 26th, 2014, with a potluck reception following.
Donations may be sent to Josh Stevens Scholarship at Gateway Credit Union, 2300 Great Northern Ave., Missoula MT 59808.
Condolences may be left for the family at www.whitesittfuneralhome.com.
