Donald W. “Don” Korman, 73, passed away early in the morning, Monday, July 14, 2014, after a hard fought battle with cancer, at the Community Medical Center in Missoula, with his family at his side.
Don was born October 12, 1940 to Bertha and Milton Korman in Hamilton.
He attended school in Hamilton and a few years at the University of Montana, just short of graduating with an accounting degree.
Gail Frankie and Don were married in 1962 and they had a son Wade.
Don worked in the grocery business, logging, and many years with the Montana Highway Department. Don was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #2 in Missoula.
He was preceded in death by his father, his wife, and in-laws, Ernie and Lil Peterson of Hamilton.
He is survived by his son, Wade, mother Bertha, brothers Larry of Hamilton and Rob (Gwen) of Missoula, and sister Della Johnson, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, July 25, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.
