BPL Fellowship Club
The Bitterroot Public Library’s Fellowship Club will meet on Thursday, May 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. to discuss “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success: A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams” by Dr. Deepak Chopra.
In this book Deepak Chopra distills the essence of his secrets to making all of one’s dreams come true into seven simple yet powerful principles that can easily be applied to create success in all areas of one’s life.
Based on natural laws which govern all of creation, this book shatters the myth that success is the result of hard work, exacting plans, or driving ambition. Chopra offers a life-altering perspective on the attainment of success: once we understand our true nature and learn to live in harmony with natural law, a sense of well-being, good health, fulfilling relationships, energy and enthusiasm for life and material abundance will spring forth easily and effortlessly. The author reveals how the same laws that nature uses to create a forest, or a galaxy, or a star, or a human body, can also bring about the fulfillment of our deepest desires. These physical laws of the universe are actually consciousness in motion.
Chopra has written more than 70 books, including 21 NYT bestsellers. They have been translated into 35 languages with more than 20 million copies sold worldwide. Hailed by Time magazine as “the poet-prophet of alternative medicine” he is founder of the Chopra Center for Well Being in Carlsbad, California, and president of the Alliance for a New Humanity.
The Fellowship Club meets every second Thursday of the month in the West Meeting Room of the Bitterroot Public Library and is free and open to anyone seeking to promote individual and collective well being. Call 363-1670, or email jacostant@gmail.com for more information.

Full day attendance is required for certification. The cost is $50 per household to cover instruction and the cost of reference materials. Attendance also entitles participants to free individual financial counseling and post-purchase counseling. The time couldn’t be better to purchase a home because interest rates remain low. The first step to the home-buying process is pre-purchase counseling. Certification is required in order to qualify for many loans (MBOH, Rural Development, FHA, etc.). Most lenders require that anyone on the loan must take the course. Additionally, HUD requires that the class be taken prior to signing a purchase contract. Offered will be up to date information on Rural Direct Loans and HRC Down Payment Assistance Deferred Payment loans. Most importantly, the class will help novice homebuyers maneuver through the entire process of homeownership. Although available, using an alternate certification method such as online course completion is being highly scrutinized by HUD and should be considered the last alternative. Call the Bitter Root RC&D office at 363-5450 to reserve your space or email bitterrootrcd@cybernet1.com, providing phone number, full name(s), etc.
