The apology offered up by a member or two of the Ravalli County Commission about the mess they created in the treasurer’s office was just about as pitiful as the job they have been doing since they were elected.
Suzy Foss and company had the opportunity to appoint Linda Isaacs, a well qualified person, but instead chose to appoint a political crony, whose main qualification, in their words, was “enthusiasm.” Now they say they’re sorry… I’ll have to agree with that assessment, but it is definitely too little, too late. One can only hope the voters of Ravalli County will realize the fallout that comes from electing unqualified people to positions of
responsibility, hopefully by election time.
It would appear that members of the Hamilton City Council figured out easily enough what Suzy Foss is all about politically and unanimously declined her appointment to their planning board, according to the article in the Ravalli Republic (2/21/14).
