I would like to clarify first that I am part Indian but not even a little part drunk!
Many of us believe that the denial of the 3 Saddle Vegetation Project has created a dangerous situation. If and when a wildfire comes roaring out of Welcome Creek Wilderness or Rock Creek, there will not be the fire break line that the project would have provided (read the complete EA).
Again, if and when that fire happens I hope all the people and the FS remember who deserves all the credit. It would be so apropos to name this forest fire the RCC Complex Fire or the Tea Party Three Fire, or the Foss Fire. You get the drift, I’m sure.
On a positive note, maybe the fire will burn down to the river which would mean it would have to pass through the Legacy Ranch Subdivision. Bummer!
