PUBLIC MEETING ON RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY DECLARING THE STEVENSVILLE AIRPORT AN INFRASTRUCTURE DEFICIENT AREA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Stevensville Town Council will hold a public meeting to consider the Resolution of Necessity and Statement of Infrastructure Deficiency for the Stevensville Airport property on Thursday, October 10, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at 206 Buck Street, Stevensville, Montana.
The Resolution of Necessity is a finding that an infrastructure deficient area exists at the Stevensville Airport that substantially impairs or arrests the sound growth of the city or its environs; inhibits the development of new and expanded value adding industry; constitutes an economic or social liability and/or is detrimental to the financial well being of the community and its citizens.
The Stevensville Airport property is 174.0+/-acres generally located south of the intersection of Airport Road and Flying Lane, in Section 13 and 24, Township 9 North, Range 20 West, Section 19 and 30, Township 9 North, Range 19 West, PMM; Town of Stevensville, Ravalli County, Montana.

The Ravalli County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will conduct a Public Hearing for a conservation easement proposed through Ravalli County’s Open Lands Bond Program. The proposal is known as the KBK River Property Application, and is comprised of one parcel of approximately 167 acres. The property is located approximately 8 miles south of Hamilton, along U.S. Highway 93 South. (See Map)
The property is described as: The S½SW¼ and Lots 7, 8, and 9 of Section 11; Lots 2 and 3 of Section 14, Township 4 North, Range 21 West, M.P.M., Ravalli County, Montana.
