SECOND CDBG PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Stevensville will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 11th, 6:00 PM, in the Town Hall Council Room for the purpose of obtaining public comments regarding a proposed application to the Montana Department of Commerce’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for Phase 2 improvements at the Town’s existing wastewater treatment facility. The project includes a new headworks facility for screenings and grit removal, critical improvements for operation and maintenance of the wastewater plant, and secondary process improvements to meet new Montana Department of Environmental Quality wastewater discharge permit requirements.
At the public hearing, the proposed project will be explained, including the purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, budget, available and possible sources of funding, and if applicable, any costs impacts to local citizens as a result of the project. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to express their opinions regarding this proposed project.

Sealed bids will be received by the Ravalli County Clerk and Recorder Office at 215 S. 4th Street, Suite C, Hamilton, Montana, 59840, until 10:30 a.m. local time on April 23, 2013, for the construction of the East Fork Bitterroot Road Safety Project. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “EAST FORK BITTERROOT ROAD SAFETY PROJECT” and “SEALED BID” along with bidder’s name and mailing address. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00 a.m. local time on April 23, 2013, within the Commissioners’ Conference Room. The work includes the removal, replacement and installation of new bridge rail and installation of approach rail at two locations along the East Fork Bitterroot Road. The project site is located in Ravalli County, along the East Fork Bitterroot Road. The bridge locations are approximately 14 miles and 15.5 miles up the East Fork Bitterroot Road from the intersection of East Fork Bitterroot Road and US Highway 93, which is approximately 0.2 miles north from the town of Sula, MT. All work must be substantially complete within 30 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The project is administered by Ravalli County, financed by the FHWA Western Federal Lands Highway Division, and is subject to all applicable regulations as indicated within the specifications.
