The Town of Stevensville is revamping its business license requirements and may institute an across the board license requirement for operation of any kind of business within the town limits. A $25 annual license fee has been proposed. The rule changes will be discussed at a public hearing scheduled for Thursday, January 24, at 6 p.m. at Town Hall. First reading of the new ordinance has been scheduled for the regular Town Council meeting the same evening at 7 p.m.
