Girl’s basketball roundup

Corvallis took on a couple tough teams, Polson and the Southwest A leader, Butte Central. Polson defeated the Blue Devils, 55-32. Lakyn Connors had 10 points to pace the Blue Devils. Connors had 12 points against Butte Central but it was not enough as they lost, 47-34.
After defeating Loyola last week, the Lady Falcons of Florence extended their winning streak with a 63-58 win over Bigfork, the second place team in District 7B. Florence had a 25 point second quarter to give themselves the edge and then held the Vals off in the third quarter for the win. Kyndall Hoff had a career high 23 points to lead Florence.

Bigfork – Siloti 2, McAnnelly 8, Hiza 10, Coleman 7, Scoggins 4, Berg 5, Spoklie 8, Robertson 14.
Florence – Megan Byrne 3, Cassandra Skeers 3, Courtney Byrne 12, Paige Bodner 7, Hailey Huot 3, Cody Miller 3, Courtney Austin 2, Carli O’Brien 7, Kyndall Hoff 23.
Victor put together a complete game against Philipsburg and came away with a 49-36 victory. Using solid defense and moving the ball around for the open shot, the Lady Pirates are showing more confidence with every game. Shai Scheffer had 17 points to lead the Lady Pirates and Haley Tillotson added 11 points.
Victor fell to Seeley-Swan, 47-19, on Saturday. Ryanne Tracy had eight points for the Lady Pirates.
Darby split their games over the weekend. They took on the tough Seeley-Swan Blackhawks and lost, 51-29. After battling to a tie at the end of the first half, the Lady Tigers went cold while Seeley took advantage of that and went on to win. Lauren Dolcater had 11 points to pace the lady Tigers.
On Saturday, the Lady Tigers took on Alberton and won, 47-35. Lauren
Dolcater had 13 points while Brianna Massey had 13 points.
