The Anaconda Country Club was the site of the Southwest A Divisional golf tournament over the weekend. The top 15 individuals and the top two teams advance to the state tournament this weekend. That tournament is also in Anaconda. Anaconda claimed the boys championship over Hamilton by winning a one-hole playoff. Both teams had 335 points at the end of the round. Kyle Lubke of Hamilton battled Caleb Stetzner of Anaconda in the playoff. They each finished with 72 points but Stetzner won the playoff. Taylor Dowdy of Hamilton finished fifth and Josh Heath was seventh. Jace Omlid of Stevensville finished ninth. Bridger Palin of Hamilton was 11th and Stevensville’s Spencer Grooms and Corbin Disney finished 13th and 14th respectively.
The Hamilton girls finished third behind Anaconda dn Dillon. Meg Maclean of Hamilton shot a 106 to finish tied for sixth. Mishaila Conway was 9th and Sidni Rose was 10th. Alyssa Heath and Annie Carroll finished 13th and 14th.
