Bitterroot to Bakken line now in service

September 18, 2012 by Editor

Ever wonder what happened to that bus line? The one that planned to transport workers from the Bitterroot to the Bakken oilfields? R’n’R Stagelines, wasn’t it? Haven’t heard much from them lately, have we?
Well, there was a reason. Finally the issues have been satisfactorily resolved, so R’n’R Stagelines is back and rearing to go. They’ve been waiting––since May–– for DOT (Department of Transportation) and PSC (Montana Public Service Commission) approval of authority to transport passengers. DOT has just granted the company that authority. R’n’R is pleased to announce that reservations are being accepted now.
Originally the company planned to use a leased coach. It proved to be too large and expensive for a start-up, so the company bought a 13-passenger van which has comfortable seating and a screen for viewing DVD’s. As the company grows, a larger coach will be purchased. Until then, only eleven seats are available per trip. Because of demand, it is vital that reservations are made early. Roundtrip tickets are strongly recommended.
R’n’R Stagelines, Inc. provides transportation for workers from Stevensville to Williston, North Dakota. Areas surrounding Missoula, Butte, Three Forks, Belgrade/Bozeman and Billings will be hubs for additional service along the route.
The company’s goal is to provide safe, reasonable, comfortable transportation for people who just want to do their job, earn their pay and enjoy their well-deserved time off back home. Crossing the state of Montana makes for one whopper of a commute. R’n’R hopes to make that commute less stressful.
For route, schedule and reservations call R’n’R at 777-7323.
