Resources on Fire: Two DNRC engines, local government engines, a 20-person Type 2 Initial Attack (IA) hand crew, and overhead including a fire investigator. A DNRC helicopter was doing bucket work but has been released for the night
Tonight and Tomorrow’s Plan: The forward spread of the fire has been stopped. Firefighters will work the fire throughout the night to put handline around the fire and to get a hoselay in.
Special Concerns: Safety of firefighters and the public is always a primary concern. The fire is on a steep ridge in rough terrain.
