NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR ISSUANCE OF ONE ORIGINAL (NEW) MONTANA RETAIL ON-PREMISES CONSUMPTION RESTAURANT BEER AND WINE WITH CATERING ENDORSEMENT LICENSE
On April 24, 2012, The Catered Tabled, LLC – Sole Member: Richard L. Marcus, filed an application for the issuance of a license to be used at THE CATERED TABLE, 205 Main Street, Stevensville, Ravalli County, Montana.
Protests against an application must be (1) made in writing, (2) mailed to the Department of Revenue, Liquor Licensing, PO Box 1712, Helena, Montana 59624-1712, and (3) received and date stamped by the Department no later than the 2nd day of July, 2012. Protests will be accepted from residents of the county from which the application originates, residents of adjoining counties, or residents of adjoining counties in another state if the criteria in subsection 16-4-207 (4)(d), MCA, are met.
Each protestor is required to mail a separate letter that contains in legible print, the protestor’s full name, mailing address, and street address. Each letter must be signed by the protestor. Protest petitions bearing the names and signatures of more than one protestor will not be considered. Protest letters must provide the trade name, or applicant name associated with the license being protested for identification purposes. Protest letters must contain a clear statement of the writer’s intent to protest the application. The grounds for protest of an application for a new license are limited to those set out in section 16-4-405, MCA for denial of a license, and public convenience and necessity as set forth in section 16-4-203, MCA. Protest letters which do not provide the information described in this paragraph will not be considered valid protest letters. Only those grounds for protest raised in valid protest letters will be considered at hearing. An individual’s testimony at hearing will be limited to the grounds for protest raised in that individual’s valid protest letter.
If the department receives a sufficient number of protests to require a hearing pursuant to section 16-4-207(4)(a), MCA, a hearing will be scheduled in Helena, Montana. If the department receives a sufficient number of protests to require a hearing pursuant to section 16-4-207(4)(b), MCA, to determine public convenience and necessity, a hearing will be held in the county in which the proposed premises is located. All qualified protestors will be notified of the time, date, and location of the hearing. Hearings are typically scheduled within 90 days following the protest deadline.
If a sufficient number of protests to require a hearing are not received and all licensing criteria have been satisfied, the department may issue the license without holding a hearing.

BUDGET AMENDMENT RESOLUTION

At a regular board meeting of the Board of Trustees of School District No.2, Ravalli County, Montana, held on May 8,2012, at 7:00 p,m. at the Stevensville Music Center Choir Room, the following resolution was introduced:
WHEREAS, the trustees of School District No.2, Ravalli County, Montana, have made a determination that as a result of an unforeseen need of the district that cannot be postponed until the next school year without affecting the educational functions of the district; and
WHEREAS, the trustees have determined that an amendment to the High School general fund budget in the amount of $33,152 is necessary under the provision of Section 20-9-161 (6), MCA; and
WHEREAS, the anticipated source of financing the budget amendment expenditures shall be the general fund reserve;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of School District No.2, Ravalli County, Montana will meet at 7:00 p.m. at Stevensville Music Center Choir Room on June 12, 2012, for the purpose of considering and adopting the budget amendment.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OR DISPOSAL OF SCHOOL PROPERTY
Whereas, Stevensville School Board has certain items of personal property that are abandoned, obsolete, undesirable, or unsuitable for school purposes.
Whereas, it is in the best interest of the Stevensville School Board to sell or otherwise dispose of said property, to put the value of said property to better use and no longer have to care, maintain, and store said property. A list of the disposal property can be picked up at the Superintendent’s office, 300 Park Avenue, Stevensville, Montana
Now therefore: Be it resolved that the Stevensville School Board intends to sell or otherwise dispose of the above described personal property in full compliance with the laws of the State of Montana., 20-6-604.
Any taxpayer may protest the adoption of this resolution any time prior to May 31,2012 and may appeal this resolution by following the procedures outlined in 20-6-604.
Items will be for sale on June 1, 2012 and will be priced to sell. All items must be removed by 5:00 pm, June 1, 2012.
Be it further resolved that all monies resulting from the sale of the properties shall become a part of the Building Fund of Stevensville Schools.

TOWN OF STEVENSVILLE
PUBLIC HEARING
The Stevensville Town Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Council Chambers, 206 Buck Street. The purpose is to take public comment on a budget amendment to the 2011-2012 budget of the Town of Stevensville. The amendment is for $20,500 to cover a shortfall in the Firemen’s Disability Fund. These funds have been received from the state but were not properly allocated in the budget. This budget amendment will allow these funds to be deposited in the Fireman Disability Account, which is a retirement account for the Volunteer Fire Department. Written public comment can be delivered to the Town Clerk’s office until 5:00 p.m. on June 14, 2012.
