Political signs being stolen already?! As the political season begins, it seems as if the party of family values is stooping to sign removal. There are two candidates running for Senate 45 seat, Gary MacLaren and Fred Thomas. A close friend of mine recently had two magnetic MacLaren door signs stolen. The first, at the Lincoln Day luncheon at the Victor Steak House, where Republican candidates from across the state were gathered.
The second was taken Monday, March 5th, where the car was parked at the Frontier Café, adjacent to businesses of Thomas supporters. As a public service, I wish to remind readers that stealing or removal of political signs is a violation of the law. Just trying to make culprits aware of the consequences. As this is written, I am unaware of any Democrat running in the filing for this position.
