According to Montana Code Annotated 2-2-302, Stevensville School District is hereby giving notice that at the regular Board meeting on October 11, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Learning Center, a recommendation will be made to employ Beth Schreiber, spouse of Trustee Tim Schreiber, as Kindergarten Teacher for the 2011-12 school year.

BUDGET AMENDMENT RESOLUTION
STEVENSVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT #2
RAVALLI COUNTY
At the regular board meeting of the Board of Trustees of School District No. 2, Ravalli County, Montana held on September 13, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at the Stevensville High School Learning Center the following resolution was introduced:
WHEREAS, the trustees of School District No. 2, Ravalli County, Montana, have made a determination that as a result of an unforeseen need of the district that cannot be postponed until the next school year without affecting the educational functions of the district; and
WHEREAS, the trustees have determined that an amendment to the high school general fund budget in the amount of $51,000 is necessary under the provisions of Section 20-9-161 (6), MCA; and
WHEREAS, the anticipated source of financing the budget amendment expenditures shall be the general fund reserve;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of School District No. 2, Ravalli County, Montana will meet at 7:00 p.m. at Stevensville High School Learning Center on October 11, 2011, for the purpose of considering and adopting the budget amendment.

Legal Notice
The Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will conduct a public hearing for a conservation easement proposed through Ravalli County’s Open Lands Bond Program. The proposal is known as the Popham Ranch Application and is composed of two parcels totaling 185 acres. The properties are located Northeast of Corvallis along Popham Lane. (See Map)
The properties are described as: A tract of land beginning at the southeast corner of the NE1/4 SE 1/4 Section 21, Township 7 North, Range 20 West, P.M.M., Ravalli County, Montana, running thence North 2250 feet; thence West to a point 672.5 feet east of the west line of SE1/4NE1/4 of said Section 21; thence South 2250 feet; thence East 639.5 feet to the place of beginning.

Written comments are encouraged to be submitted to the Planning Department prior to the public hearing and will be forwarded to the BCC for consideration at the public hearing. The public may comment verbally or in writing at the hearing. Comments and information submitted at the public hearing will be considered in the decision on the Popham Ranch Conservation Easement.
