Are power costs eating up your budget? Find out how you can reduce your power costs at the North Valley Public Library in Stevensville on Thursday, July 12 at 6 p.m. The Montana Department of Environment Quality (Paul Tschida), Ravalli Electric Co-op (Jim Maunder), and Northwestern Energy (Stephen Clawson) are sharing information on the latest programs and incentives that the government and their local companies have to offer, as well as information on how homeowners can reduce their energy consumption. Learn about the federal credit of 30% of the cost (material and labor) with no upper limit for qualifying solar electric, and solar water heating systems, as well as state incentives and examples of efficiency techniques used in Montana houses.
