Montanans need to recall that Senator Tester is one of their own; his roots here are deep for his family settled in the Big Sandy area over one hundred years ago. He represents the Montana we all cherish and the values we all share:
Our national honor and our veterans-consider the telemedicine funding he obtained to help Montana veterans get the care they so deserve.
Respect for the land-he has chosen to run his own farm in a manner that is gentle on soil itself.
Education as a keystone of a democracy-as a former school board member and teacher, he emphasizes the necessity of good schools to develop good citizens.
Accountability in government-remember his sponsorship, along with two Republicans, of the VA Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act which was signed by the President in 2017.
Senator Tester is a moderate from a moderate state and although each of us may disagree with some of his decisions, he has worked hard, has himself been accountable and perhaps most importantly, has integrity.
